The Mission

VISION STATEMENT

Our vision is to call forth the next generation of the Korean-American church to its calling in God, to raise up true disciples of Christ that love him with all of their hearts, enjoy his Presence, know his voice, and walk in his power. We want every service to be a time where people encounter God in a transformative way, where our members feel supported by and genuinely enjoy being with one another, and where disciples are being trained to live out and carry the gospel into every corner of society and into every nation.

They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor. They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated; they will renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations… Instead of your shame you will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace you will rejoice in your inheritance. And so you will inherit a double portion in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours. - Isa. 61

OUR VALUES

A Healthy Spiritual Family

We are committed to fostering a supportive and loving community where every member encourages one another. We reject gossip and slander, instead prioritizing reconciliation and covering each other's weaknesses with grace and love. Our shared goal is to walk closely with Jesus, striving together for unity and spiritual growth.

A Double Portion Inheritance

Inspired by the biblical example of Jacob’s desire for his inheritance, we seek a double portion of spiritual legacy from our Korean forefathers. Their unwavering devotion to daily prayer and commitment to spreading the gospel worldwide motivates us to honor and build upon their faithfulness. We aspire to carry forward their legacy with even greater grace, continuing their mission in our generation and beyond.

A City on a Hill

We strive to honor God's Word and uphold His standards, serving as a visible example of obedience to His commands in our personal lives. Our mission is to disciple our nation, teaching and inspiring others to follow His commands faithfully, thereby shining as a beacon of God's truth and love in the world.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

  • We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It serves as the final authority for Christian faith and practice.

  • We acknowledge one God who eternally exists as three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. All things were created by Him and for Him.

  • We affirm that God the Son became a human being in the person of Jesus Christ. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died as a substitutionary sacrifice for all humanity, rose from the dead, ascended into heaven, and now sits at the right hand of God.

  • We recognize the Holy Spirit’s role in convicting the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. The Spirit regenerates and indwells believers, empowering them to be witnesses. Spiritual gifts mentioned in Scripture are available and active in the church today.

  • We hold that God created human beings—male and female—in His image. Although sin entered the world, Jesus Christ remains the sole Savior, and salvation comes through grace and faith in Him alone.

  • We affirm the unity of the universal church, composed of men and women from diverse backgrounds. Local congregations express this unity.

  • We believe in the resurrection of the dead: Believers will be raised to life, while unbelievers will face everlasting condemnation.

  • We uphold marriage as a sacred institution between one man and one woman.
